Its output shaft drives the four-bar linkage mechanism, which changes continuous rotational motion into left and right swinging motion through the four-bar linkage mechanism. By using the worm gear on the armature shaft to drive the output shaft and driving the output gear through the idler gear and idler gear shaft, the output shaft controls the wiper linkage mechanism to perform reciprocating motion, thereby driving the wiper arm and wiper blade to remove rainwater from the windshield.
